    1.   ●   Ship design

            This year, we use multihull trimaran hull design for our Roboboat, which is different from last year. We hope our Roboboat like a real ship such as military naval ship, so we use Rhino software to design the ship’s hull. After discussion, a multihull trimaran hull was adopted. Luckily, the Horizon which is a yacht company can help us build ship. We first went to the Horizon Company to make PVC board bond together, then imported Rhino drawing into CNC machine for processing. Finally we worked on this unmodified ship with grinding, cutting, and painting.
          By the sub-hull on both sides to share the main hull buoyancy makes ship design can be more slender to reduce resistance while sailing, thereby increasing the performance of high-speed driving. Multihull trimaran hull design is also more stable than single straight boat. And propulsion device can be placed on both sides of the hull to increase the distance of sub-hull. At a low speed, the propulsion device can be a way to shift differential, which will help ship turn around in tight areas.
